D H Turner Limited, operation for more than 50 years, has and continues to provide a quality service to industry by supplying modern, well maintained plant along with experienced, CPCS, qualified operators.

Established by David Henry Turner just after World War II as an agricultural contractor, the company expanded and moved into the construction industry.

With experience over the years of working with most of the major National construction companies and civil engineers, the management and staff of D H Turner Limited have developed into a professional, well respected contractor and plant hire.

Willing to undertake most challenges, has led to many diversified jobs, whether it be as main earth moving contractor on highway construction, overburden removal at mineral quarries and landfill cell construction to providing plant on a general hire basis to local and national companies. All the while never forgetting the agricultural background with the construction of irrigation reservoirs and wildlife/ fishing ponds and dyke maintenance.

With the customer base predominantly in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, and with a fully equipped large workshop, we are able to provide a reliable service with a comprehensive backup operation.
